Waverider 600

The waverider 6 m for work or pleasure has room to spare and handles the sea like it owns it.

Standard Features

The Waverider 600 is a very wide boat for its size. It uses gull wings on the underside of the hull, which allows for it to get on the plane with ease carrying heavy loads. The Waverider 600 is a work horse and can carry up to 14 divers with all their equipment and still perform. It has a built in engine well and a large open deck.

The 600 can be used for commercial usage of defence work. It has a full-length underdeck hatch with a built in anchor locker. Its underdeck compartments can be accessed through hatches.

This boat is also approved to meet SOLAS regulations and can be supplied in various configurations.

The hull features an Aluminum keel strip. The strip is attached to a box section of the keel of the boat. This box section is an intricate part of the mould. We fill the box section internally with chop strand matting that is manipulated into a rope type length, we then use extra woven roving to form over the top of this to make a solid keel internally. The alloy keel protector is screwed onto the outside of this solid box section. This allows the boat to run up on beaches or rocks without damaging the keel or if you miss the trailer when you are recovering the boat. This procedure gives the Gemini craft a very strong backbone and the boat can be lifted from the bow eye and the boat will not split. This feature sets Gemini apart from any other inflatable manufacture that we currently know about on the market. Other companies have copied but this is only external and their internal work does not produce the same results that we are used to.

The 600 can be fitted with any of our stand up consoles.
